Electronic Waste Recycling Event
Encouraged by its wild success in 2009 and 2010 members of the Noontime Rotary Club of Ellsworth are once again organizing a day for collection and recycling of old and broken electronics. E-waste will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 in Home Depot’s parking lot in Ellsworth. This event is open to residents from any community and items may be recycled for free. The Noontime Rotary Club will accept donations for its mentoring projects.

Mission & Vision

The mission of the Ellsworth Noontime Rotary Club is to be recognized locally for a commitment to advance personal, professional and economic growth in the greater Ellsworth area, both for its members and the community’s businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and students.

The Ellsworth Noontime Rotary Club will achieve its goals by focusing on the formation of mentoring relationships within its community. By acting collectively as a sounding board, club members offer the expertise of their various classifications to businesses and not-for-profit organizations facing new challenges in the marketplace. Mentoring relationships in schools will expose students to the business world’s practices, people, and culture and help reverse the current trend of students seeking employment outside the State of Maine.
